- Urticaria;
- Sometimes even acute renal failure;
- Rash;
- Leukopenia;
- Allergic reactions;
Pyrantel may cause:

- Fever;

- Vomiting;
If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly.
Very unlikely, but report promptly:
- Change In Amount Of Urine;
- Dark Urine;
- Easy Bruising;
- Mental/Mood Changes;
- Persistent Sore Throat Or Fever;
- Seizures;
- Severe Headache;
- Stomach Pain;
- Very Stiff Neck;
- Vision Problems;
- Yellowing Eyes Or Skin;
In the unlikely event you have a serious allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction to this drug include:
- Itching;
- Rash;
- Severe Dizziness;
- Swelling;
- Trouble Breathing;
Drug Interactions
Avoid taking these drugs during your Pyrantel treatment:
- Theophylline;
- Praziquantel;
- Dexamethasone;
- Cimetidine;
